The description on the filing is four words: new commercial building for padel tenant. The city classified it as a recreational building rather than a shell, so the permit already reflects a purpose-built sports facility.

Why it matters
A purpose-built racquet-sport venue at three million dollars says as much about the category as it does about the project. The city classified it as recreational rather than as a warehouse with courts inside, which is the cheaper way these usually arrive.
It also carries an internal lesson. This project was invisible to the first two passes of the 2026-08-24 scan because the query filtered on a field name that does not exist on the dataset.
